Aquaflow Plumbing Corporation proudly installs
Moen and Kohler faucets, other faucets available upon request. As beauty is in the eye of the beholder, faucet brands
such as Grohe, Delta, Pricepfister and others are also available upon request. Faucets come in several different styles,
beginning with a single hole faucet, a dual hole faucet, a triple hole faucet and a four hole faucet. Kitchen faucets
are typically either a single hole faucet, which is the newest trend in granite and marble counter tops, or as with most older
faucets are typically a 3 or 4 hole faucet depending on whether or not you have a side sprayer. Most older kitchen faucets
have an 8" spread, which is the distance measured between the hot and cold handles or the width of the base plate on
a single handle faucet. Most bathroom faucets are a 4" spread, once again measured by either the distance between
the hot and cold handle or the baseplate. Some bathroom sinks may have faucet handles that are spread farther apart,
these are called widespread faucets, and handle widths can vary from 8" up to 16" per faucet.
When choosing a faucet there are many different things
to consider, such as color, stlye and function.
Chrome is by far the most popular color, yet as times change and tastes change more modern colors
are being found in more common style faucets, Colors such as Stainless Steel, Brushed steel and Oil Rubbed Bronze are
becoming more popular as trends continue to look for something new and different.
When choosing a faucet your
first priority should be functionability, if the faucet does not server the purpose you need it to do, such as having a sprayer
to rinse out your big pots that will not fit underneath your spout or a lever handle that will be easier to grip that a round
handle would be, then no matter how good the faucet looks it will be useless to you, so when choosing a faucet, think about
the task at hand and what purpose the faucet needs to provide for you and then choose a style that works best for you.
